Delete your account

You can delete your iUtils Fit account yourself, at any time, without emailing anyone.

How

  • In the app or on the web: Settings → Profile → Delete account, then confirm.
  • If you cannot sign in: email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask for it to be deleted.

Have a subscription from the App Store or Google Play? Cancel it there first. The store bills you, not Fit, so deleting your account does not stop it.

What is deleted

  • Your Fit profile and settings.
  • Workouts, sets, routines and programs; cardio activities and their GPS routes.
  • Nutrition entries, recipes, habits, body weight, measurements and progress photos.
  • Health data imported into Fit, menstrual cycle days, meditation sessions, achievements and streaks.
  • Your posts, comments, spots, spot notes and photos, and your circle and competition memberships.
  • Push notification tokens.
  • The product analytics events recorded about your account. Weekly totals with no account attached are kept.
  • At Stripe and RevenueCat: your customer record. A web subscription is cancelled first.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Circles and competitions you run are handed to the longest-standing member so the others keep them. Your name is no longer on them.
  • A record that a deletion happened, without your training data, is kept for security and to finish any billing clean-up.
  • Encrypted backups age out on the normal backup rotation.
  • Payment records that Apple, Google or Stripe must keep by law stay with them.

Your iUtils account

You sign in to Fit with an iUtils account, which is shared by every iUtils app. Deleting Fit does not delete it. To delete that too, sign in at iUtils → Settings → Delete account.
