Something not working, or not obvious? Email [email protected] and describe what you were doing when it went wrong. Mention your device and whether you were on the app or the website — it makes the fix much faster.
Getting started
- Sign in with your iUtils account. Fit uses the same login as the rest of iUtils.
- Pick a program under Training → Programs, or build your own routine. There are published programs for strength, hypertrophy, running, and general fitness.
- Log a workout from Today. The workout of the day for your assigned program is at the top.
- Record a run from Cardio → Record. On the iOS app you can lock your phone and put it in your pocket; recording continues.
Common questions
Can I keep my screen off while running?
Yes, in the iOS app. Allow location access "Always" the first time you are asked, then start the activity and lock the phone. In a mobile browser the screen has to stay on — browsers stop giving out location when the page is hidden, which is why the iOS app exists.
Barcode scanning is not finding my food.
Barcodes are looked up against Open Food Facts and the USDA database. Regional or store-brand products are often missing. You can add the item manually and it will be saved for next time.
Can I import a program from somewhere else?
Yes. Training → Programs → Import lets you paste a program written in plain text — the kind of thing a coach emails you, or a spreadsheet copied straight out of the cells. The app parses it into weeks, days, and exercises and shows you the result before saving.
My units are wrong.
Settings → Profile → Units. Switching between metric and imperial converts everything already logged; nothing is lost.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Profile → Delete account. It permanently removes your account and your training data. Export anything you want to keep first.
Reporting a bug
Send it to [email protected] with what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you have one.
Privacy
What the app collects and how to delete it is set out in the privacy policy.
One important note
Fit is a training log, not a medical device. Its estimates are informational. If something hurts, talk to a professional rather than to an app.
